[edit] 2 Game Assumptions
To run the simulation game, simplifications have to be made. Therefore we assume:
- only general business hotels compete in the market
- hotel and restaurant are linked physically as well as organisationally
- there are only five types of different restaurants
- each type of restaurant is defined by type - specific price and service quality level
- The market situation (supply and demand) is based on stylized country-specific data (statistics, company reports, business forecasts, links to the homepages of official organisations etc.)
Now that you have read about the basic rules and assumptions for playing game phase I, please continue and read the introduction to the game phase I. You will get background information about the business environment and get an overview of your proposed learning outcomes.
